Heather had always played with hair growing up, her poor dolls never kept their hair for long. At sixteen, she became best friends with a Hair Stylist, who encouraged her to pursue hair as a profession. Heather is originally from North Carolina; where she first obtained her cosmetology license in 2004. Shortly after becoming licensed, she was thrilled to compete in the US Beauty Open at Premiere Orlando and won 1st place in the Juniors Technical Creative Consumer Day look and 2nd place combined. She dedicated eight years at a salon called the Rockin’ Roller Salon, where she was introduced to Goldwell and fell in love with color line and company.

Heathers love for Goldwell brought her to Salon Modello. “I love color. I have a soft spot for reds, especially multi-faceted reds. I love dimensional color in general, it adds sophistication to brunettes and an extra pop to blondes. There are so many different ways to layer color. It’s so fun tailoring that to each guest in my chair!” The biggest compliment Heather gets is that she listens and is helpful to solve hair problems.

She get most excited over big transformations. Be it a huge shift in hair color or a drastic style change. She loves helping guests reinvent their looks. Her favorite thing about being a Hair Stylist  is watching the emotional change in guests when they feel great about the way they look.
